Emily Rowley is the founder of Emily Amelia Design, she is a London based furniture maker working in wood creating organic sculptural pieces of heirloom furniture.

She graduated with a Distinction from the Fine Furniture Making Course at West Dean College of Arts and Conservation in West Sussex.

Training in the South Downs in Sussex and having grown up around England in the North York Moors, South Devon, Lincolnshire, and the East Riding of Yorkshire, Emily has a deep connection to the natural world which has no doubt influenced her choice of medium and the biomorphic forms of her work.

Emily is a recipient of the Worshipful Company of Art Scholars Bursary Award and has exhibited her ‘Moonlight Bloom Lamp’ with the Furniture Makers’ Company at the New Furniture Makers Exhibition in October 2025.
